A listing of all the greater houses of Scotland, with postal information relating to posting routes, the ‘new’ postage stamps etc. Very Scarce Binding worn. Signature on front free endpaper of Colonel the Honourable Donald Ogilvy of Clova (who was a member of parliament until 1832). Oddly there is a date of 1823 below the signature but as the book was published in 1843 this may be a slip of the pen. Internally well used. There is a pencil mark against Ogilvy’s estate of Balbanoth House
