Gift inscription from the author to ‘His Grace, the Lord High Commissioner June 1926’. From the date this will be Edward Bruce, 10th Earl of Elgin, Lord High Commissioner to the General Assembly. The author has also added his academic designation ‘D.D.’ to the name on the title page.. A VG copy in a Good dustjacket which has some wear to the spine ends and top edge. Very scarce, especially in the dustjacket.
