A Leonidas Witherall mystery. Scarce wartime Crime Club novel in the dustjacket. First edition, dated 1944 on copyright page. Orange cloth, in very Good condition with just some foxing/ flecking to the edges of the text block particularly the upper edge. The jacket is priced at 4/6d and therefore a later issue but same design as first. Jacket edges are foxed and dusty with wear at one corner and a little staining to spine and a small chip to rear cover. Hard to find in jscket.
