Poems in Scots by Peebleshire hill farmer. A shepherd by trade, and an acute observer of country life and language, recorded in prose and verse, mostly in his native Peebleshire speech. In the 1950s the BBC recorded him reading his poems and talking about country life with Jamieson Clark in the successful series, The Shepherd’s Year, a title Kilbucho went on to use as his own.
