Internally the hinge is detached at the and there are some loose pages. Many attractive Harry payne coloured illustrations and a page of chromolithographic plates of Black Watch tartans. Laid in is an advert for the series (including details of volumes to be published) and a clipping from an 1893 newspaper advertising this volume.
