Published in the UK as The Mendip Mystery. In the original black cloth with green titles but a poor ex-library copy – edges of the covers unevenly fade. Stamps of an francisco hotel library to  pastedown and soild/ foixed throughout , particularly to the earlty pages. Looks Good- externally but internally poor. A reading copy.
