Standing orders for this regiment covering everything from regulations for how to wear the kilt and cook’s standing orders. . In 1897 a second battalion was raised for the regiment and they were moved to Egypt. , moving to Egypt in 1897. The battalion were part of General Kitchener’s force during the 1898 reconquest of the Sudan, and this copy shows considerable fading and wear to the covers, contents loose . Some pencil sketches to the early and final pages one of which looks much like Lord Kitchener. No title page [not sure if called for] A Fair copy only of a scarce item
