Poetic detective novel set in Wales during the 1926 General Strike where a mine owner is murdered. Short-listed for the Crime writer’s Association Gold Dagger in 1959. Ownership inscription to fep otherwise VG in slightly dusty VG- jacket which is frayed at lower spine end.
