Donleavy’s controversial, scabrous, stand out first novel. First published by Olymopia Press in Paris in 1955 and banned in US for obscenity, this is the first UK edition. A VG copy in the notoriously fragile dustjacket. The jacket is not price clipped and is reasonably fresh, wih some small nicks and a couple of very small closed tears to spine edge ends. Rear panel has a few light handling marks. VG in VG- dustjacket protected by removable plastic sleeve.
