Description

Verse and drawings to commemorate a picnic at Loch Lee in Glen Esk  in 1890. The picnic appears to have been given by Colonel ‘Jack’ Guthrie of Carlogie House, Carnoustie with 26 guests. The 24 pages contain poetry written for the occasion  (authors only noted by initials) and line drawings, of Loch Lee, Edzell Castle, Loch Leven etc. 24pp. Softcovers, binding loose and some edgewear, light handling marks particularly to front cxcover. Undated but reference to next meeting dated 1890. A No record of this publication in the National Libraries or elsewhere. Scarce.
