Description

Autobiographical memories. The author was a painter and writer based in Albany, Dumfries. The period covered is from around 1911 until 1934 . Frontispiece is a colour photograph of Dervorgilla’s Bridge, Dumfries from an oil painting by the author. Edition limited to 75 copies. 111 p., [5] leaves of plates : ill. (some col.) ; 22 cm. There is a gift inscription from the author to her neighbour Mrs Walmsley dated 1939. A photograph, partly damaged is pasted to the front pastedown and may be of the author. Also pasted to the fep  is a memorial article relating to a Miss Jane Storie at Tinwood church.  VG- A scarce ephemeral item.
