Description

Nomadic wild life studies in Africa in the 1950s and 1960s. Mostly focussed on the Maun area (now Northern Botswana). The authoress, like Joy Adamson had a keen interest in the local fauna including a friendly lioness called Chink and the less friendly local crocodiles. Signed by the authoress to the title page with a lengthy note to the dedication pages to two friends with an interest in the nature reserves. The authoress was a keen supporter of the World Wildlife Fund. Enclosed is a photograph presumably supplied by the authoress with the book to her friends
