Has the bookplate of the Chatsworth Attic sale from Sotheby’s in 1910 – Chatsworth was a famous royal residence (Duke of Devonshire) and there was large quantity of Golden Age Detective fiction sold – the sale raised 6.4million pounds in total – this scarce work is much cheaper! No copies of the first edition are currently on sale worldwide Very Good. Slight spine lean but no marks or inscriptions
