Original cloth covers with title label. Split at front cover which has separated, otherwise VG. Laid in is a contemporary poem in praise of the author’s previous work (An apology…) by A.M. Gales. Robert Barclay’s Apology was an important early Quaker work. The Memoirs were written about the year 1740 by Robert Barclay, the son of the Apologist. 98pp. Other than the loose front cover, in VG condition.
