Description

Reminiscences covering genealogy (the St. Clairs and the Thomsons), the 9th lancers, the Crimean War etc. Two volumes red cloth with gilt titles. Spines dull. Signed with a gift inscription by the author to the half title page  to a Miss Lena Meiklejohn who appears to have assisted by typing the manuscript etc. A letter from the author to Miss Meiklejohn, thanking her, is pasted to the front inside cover.
