Ownership inscription to the title page suggests the was the copy of the legendary maker of Tynron Kirk whisky (supplied to the Houses of Parliament in the early 20th century) and local historian Willie Wilson. the secret production methods for Tynron Kirk whisky died with Wilson in 1969, and sadly like the map are not contained here.
