Description

Three volumes of the British Library Studies in Medieval Culture: The Book of Cerne, by M.P. Brown 1996; The Book of Kells by Carol Farr 1977 ; Women and the Book  by Lesley Smith and Jane H.M. Taylor. Housed in a custom made clamshell box with title label. Laid in ais a mock up of the title label with instructions. Inside the books are some post it notes with comments [these have been left in in case of interest but can be discarded if unwanted] . Purchased with other items by the Bookbinder Eric Sweet and the box and label are assumed to be his work. All three books are Fine copies of the first editions in dustjackets.
