Description

Victorian crime novel. Later issue in illustrated boards . Internally some light marks throughout. Covers a little worn and rubbed to corners and spine. Has the illustrated frontispiece but not the other illustration. Scrape to spine and unfortunately the rear board has been used as a dart board, with punctures (not affecting legibility) coming through  to the last few pages where there is also a small stain (see scans) A scarce edition.
